About the Cover

Cover Figure

Cover Picture: A composite of two photomicrographs shows corticothalamic anterograde transport of DiO (red) and DiD (purple) label in a L1 mutant. Axons enter the internal capsule (dorsal image) and continue to the thalamus (ventral image). Segregation of the labeled pathways suggests that topography is maintained despite major defasciculation defects in these mutants. See Wiencken-Barger et al., pp. 121–131.
